Nathaniel Javid, BA, Receives Partners in Giving Award

Nathaniel Javid, BA, will receive the Partners in Giving 2025 Robert A. Alesch Award at the organization’s recognition ceremony on March 18, 2026. This award is given to a volunteer who has served in multiple leadership roles for Partners in Giving over an extended period. Javid began volunteering with Partners in Giving in 2012 when he began his employment with UW–Madison, serving as co-chair for the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene. He continued as co-chair until 2021 when he departed for his new role at the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH). Javid has served on the Partners in Giving Training and Outreach Committee since 2019, and in 2023 resumed his involvement in the annual campaign for DFMCH.
“I am honored to be part of an organization that provides an easy way to give to our communities via a workplace campaign. It’s encouraging to see how small donations can really add up to making a difference in others’ lives,” said Javid.
Partners in Giving is an annual volunteer-driven workplace campaign for employees of Universities of Wisconsin, UW Health, and State of Wisconsin. Employees have donated over $90 million to charity through this program since its start in 1973.
