Meet the Family Medicine Residency Class of 2029

The UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health is pleased to welcome the Class of 2029 to the Madison, Baraboo, and Monroe Family Medicine Residency programs. This outstanding group of physicians brings a shared commitment to compassionate care and a wealth of experience in community service, leadership, research, advocacy, and patient education. As they begin training across our programs, they join a tradition of caring for patients and families through every stage of life while strengthening the communities we serve.

Family medicine’s holistic, patient-centered approach drew many members of this class to the specialty. Across all three sites, these residents share a passion for improving health in their communities. Through free clinic service, health education initiatives, and community outreach programs, they have worked to expand access to care, address barriers to health, and advocate for underserved populations in both urban and rural settings.

Their clinical interests span the full spectrum of family medicine, including women’s health, obstetrics, mental health, addiction medicine, geriatrics, preventive care, sports medicine, integrative health, palliative care, and rural medicine. Together, they bring a breadth of expertise and perspectives that will enrich learning opportunities and strengthen patient care throughout our residency programs.

Outside of medicine, these residents enjoy a wide range of activities, from running, hiking, biking, swimming, yoga, and other outdoor pursuits to cooking, baking, reading, traveling, crafting, attending live music events, and spending time with family, friends, and pets.

What unites the Class of 2029 most is a dedication to caring for the whole person and a belief in the power of strong patient relationships. We are excited to welcome these talented physicians to Madison, Baraboo, and Monroe and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our patients and communities in the years ahead.
