Jennifer Lochner, MD Selected as ADFM LEADS Fellow

The Association of Departments of Family Medicine (ADFM) has selected Jennifer Lochner, MD for its 2026-2027 cohort of Leadership Education for Academic Development and Success (LEADS) fellows. The fellowship program is designed for those in family medicine interested in pathways to leadership in academic and health system settings. Fellows receive training, tools, and experiential learning while completing a project to build skills and developing ongoing connection with an established department chair or senior leader. Lochner’s project focus is assessing primary care compensation for gender equity.
Lochner is the clinical service chief for the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health’s four residency clinics and co-chairs the Clinical Knowledge Management Council for UW Health. She is a knowledge assessment consultant for the American Board of Family Medicine and an associate editor for Family Medicine, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine’s peer-reviewed journal. Lochner practices in Belleville, Wisconsin, a rural community southwest of Madison.
ADFM supports academic family medicine departments in achieving their full potential in care, education, scholarship, and advocacy in the pursuit of health and health equity.
