Bio

Timothy Drews, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor. He’s also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.

Dr. Drews offers comprehensive health care for both adults and children. He diagnoses and treats sudden illnesses, injuries and chronic (ongoing) conditions. These include flu, ear infections, allergies, back pain, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and asthma. To help keep patients healthy, Dr. Drews provides routine checkups, medical screening tests, sports physicals, immunizations and wellness advice.

When meeting with patients and families, Dr. Drews aims to help them understand their medical conditions. He listens to their concerns and explains their treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their care. His goal is to help people improve their overall wellness and become healthier versions of themselves.

During his free time, Dr. Drews enjoys running, spending time outdoors and watching sporting events.

“I entered the medical profession to serve others and to hopefully better the lives of people I encounter every day.”
