Bio
Samantha Prince, MD, is passionate about global health, health equity, and LGBTQ+ health, with a particular interest in improving access to evidence-based care for underserved populations. She seeks to reduce barriers to health care and foster inclusive clinical environments. Prince enjoys academic research that translates evidence into meaningful improvements in patient care and population health.
Through her partnership with the NICE Foundation in Hyderabad, India, she has participated in collaborative research on prenatal outcomes. Prince completed clinical experience in Hyderabad in 2026 while pursuing the global health pathway and developing her interest in global health education.
Prince also completed the Training in Urban Medicine and Public Health (TRIUMPH) training pathway in medical school, where she spent two and a half years in Milwaukee conducting research on traumatic brain injury among survivors of domestic violence. Additionally, she has contributed to LGBTQ+ health initiatives focused on anal cancer screening and the development of shared decision-making tools in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin Department of Surgery.
