Bio
Julia Beck, DO, joined DFMCH in 2026 as a resident. She is interested in full-spectrum family medicine with a focus on women’s health, obstetrics, and addiction medicine and hopes to use her background in population health to bring new and innovative ways to make whole communities healthier and happier.
While working with older adults in an outpatient setting, Beck realized that the social aspects of a patient’s health were just as important as the medical reason for their visit. Seeing how physicians during family medicine rotations noted patients’ social histories and anticipated future barriers to care sparked Beck’s passion for family medicine. Beck aspires to serve as a cornerstone in the care of patients of all ages and their families through all stages of life.
Beck enjoys running, live music, cooking, and thrifting.
