Bio

Jenna R. Lee, MD/MBBS, joined DFMCH in 2026 as an integrative health fellow. Lee’s professional journey has been shaped by a passion for lifelong learning, global health, and whole-person care. Before pursuing medicine, she performed as a professional ballerina, an experience that instilled a deep appreciation for discipline, resilience, and the connection between movement and well-being.

Lee later moved to London to attend medical school at St. George’s, University of London, where her love of international travel evolved into a commitment to global medicine. Through medical mission work in India — including public health initiatives with Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore and training at AVN Arogya Ayurvedic Hospital in Madurai — she gained valuable perspectives on integrative approaches to health and healing.

After completing her family medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Nashville, where she was honored to serve as chief resident, she continued to pursue her passion for patient education, evidence-informed integrative medicine, and empowering individuals to achieve sustainable, lifelong wellness.

Clinical Interests

Lee’s clinical interests center on helping patients achieve lifelong health through an integrative, evidence-informed approach that emphasizes prevention, lifestyle medicine, and patient education. She is particularly interested in the powerful connection between the mind and body.

Lee’s experiences traveling internationally have deepened her appreciation for global healing traditions, including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, and how those perspectives can complement conventional medical care. As a former professional ballerina, she hopes to bring a unique appreciation for the role of movement, mindfulness, and whole-person wellness in supporting health across the lifespan.
