Bio
Chrystal Amini, MD, joined DFMCH in 2026 as a resident. She wants to use her skills in relationship building, community engagement, and her experience with diverse populations to navigate barriers to care. She has a passion for teaching patients and integrative medicine. As someone who grew up in poverty, she has a passion for lifestyle medicine and empowering patients to care for themselves with the resources they have.
Amini has experience in community-engaged research and the study of bioethics and envisions serving an urban community while mentoring the next generation of diverse, competent, and compassionate physicians.
Amini enjoys swimming, scuba diving, biking, Olympic weightlifting, cooking, reading, meditation, and traveling.
