Bio
Ashley Lanzarotti, DO, joined DFMCH in 2026 as a resident. Her interests include geriatrics and addiction medicine, and she is drawn to the fundamental role of community in family medicine. She wants to be both a healing and calming presence for her patients and to give each the autonomy and voice to communicate their needs.
As a medical student, Lanzarotti volunteered at Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly in Chicago. The organization serves older adults without friends or family, and she dined with attendees, shared conversations, and celebrated milestones. This experience ignited her passion for working with older adults and pursuing geriatric medicine.
Lanzarotti enjoys trying new restaurants, crocheting, playing pub trivia, watching and playing along with Jeopardy!, reading, and trying to see all the Oscar Best Picture nominees each year.
