Speaker Bio

Dr. Jehni Robinson is Professor and Chair of the Department of Family Medicine and Associate Dean for Primary Care at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. She is a past president and board chair of the Association of Departments of Family Medicine (ADFM) and served as president of USC Care Medical Group from 2021 to 2023. Dr. Robinson led the development of a new Keck-sponsored Family Medicine Residency Program, which graduated its first class in 2024. In 2018, she co-founded the USC Street Medicine Program, bringing healthcare to people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. For this work, she received the 2024 Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) Advocate Award. Before joining USC, Dr. Robinson served as Chief Medical Officer of The Saban Community Clinic and was faculty and interim director of the Harbor-UCLA Transforming Primary Care Faculty Development Fellowship. She earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency, chief residency, and faculty development fellowship at Harbor-UCLA and later completed the California Healthcare Leadership Fellowship and the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Fellowship.
