Bio
Jaymie Marty, RN (she/her/hers) joined DFMCH in 2025 as a nurse care manager. A proud graduate of Southwest Technical College, she earned her nursing degree in 2013. During her career, Marty has gained experience in cosmetic nursing, long-term care, and ambulatory medicine.
During Marty’s five years at the UW Health Belleville clinic, she discovered a deep passion for supporting, treating, and advocating for patients with substance use disorders. She also developed a profound affection for providing support, guidance, and education to women receiving obstetric care within the primary care setting. She provided additional support to the clinic’s obstetric patients by utilizing her knowledge learned through UW Health’s breastfeeding champion course and her own personal experiences.
Marty was one of the first members to form the Primary Care Council through UW Health’s shared governance program. The council works to develop and implement a set of nursing standards spanning across UW Health’s family medicine clinics. She served two terms on the council.
