Bio

David Leinweber, MD, MS (he/him) is DFMCH faculty and associate director of the addiction medicine fellowship program. He enjoys mountain biking, road cycling, cross country skiing, and playing chess and other board games.

Clinical Interests

Leinweber’s clinical interests include addiction medicine and the treatment of substance use disorders.

Research Interests

Leinweber is a member of the PROTEA research team. His research interests include:

  • Clinical trials of psychedelic compounds in the treatment of substance use disorders
  • Investigating the pharmacokinetics of various psychoactive substances
