Sarina Schrager, MD
Congratulations to Sarina Schrager, MD, MS (Professor, CHS) on being appointed to the Jean Manchester Biddick Bascom Professorship for women’s health research! This five-year endowed professorship advances and supports the scholarly activities and research of an outstanding faculty member in the field of women’s health. Schrager practices full-spectrum family medicine including outpatient care of women in all lifecycles with a special interest in menopausal conditions. Her teaching interests focus on women’s health education.
Jean Manchester Biddick Bascom Professorship recipients are recommended by the dean of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health and managed by the Office of the Provost. These professorships are awarded to faculty members demonstrating valuable teaching and service and outstanding research or creative work. Funding for the appointments is held at the UW Foundation.
