Bio
Kerry Zimdars, MD, MPH (she/her/hers) enjoys working with patients to provide patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine. With that emphasis, she sees patients of all ages – from newborn to end of life – for everything from chronic diseases, women’s health care, gender expansive care, and addiction medicine to sports medicine and musculoskeletal issues.
She’s had the pleasure to work with patients from all walks of life and who speak languages from all over the globe, and she always strives to provide care that is applicable to their goals, culture, and preferences while sharing the medical information that is needed to facilitate fully-informed decision making.
Clinical Interests
Zimdars has training in dermoscopy use for dermatologic issues. She performs in-office procedures including joint injections, skin biopsies, lesion removals, and IUD and Nexplanon placement and removals.
Teaching Interests
Zimdars enjoys working with learners to impart some of the wisdom that others have shared with her throughout her education and career, not only relating to medical knowledge but also to work-life balance and self-care, incorporating public health into everyday medical care, and the art of medicine that goes far beyond the textbook and lecture hall.
