Nina Wood

Bio

Nina Wood (she/her/hers) joined DFMCH in 2023. Wood brings research experience in the molecular and cellular biology of aging, notably for the prevention and treatment of skeletal muscle aging. Wood previously worked with the Anderson Research Lab in the UW Department of Geriatrics and Gerontology studying interventions for sarcopenia. In 2022 she received a Hilldale Undergraduate/Faculty Research Fellowship that allowed her to study the impact of an adiponectin receptor agonist on skeletal muscle inflammation.
