Bio
Jane Evered, PhD, RN (she/her/hers) is a registered nurse and action researcher passionate about qualitative approaches to inquiry. She completed her undergraduate studies in human biology at Stanford University and earned an accelerated bachelor’s in nursing and PhD at the University of Pennsylvania as part of the Hillman Scholars Program in Nursing Innovation. She joined the Primary Care Research Fellowship in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health in 2020 and is now an investigator with the Qualitative and Health Experiences Research Lab.
Evered strives to pursue research, practice, and advocacy collaborations that work towards improving person and care partner experiences of health & health care and reducing inequities.
