Kate brings a unique set of qualifications to this position. For several years, Kate was the Research Ambassador and Pilot Awards Manager for the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) Community-Academic Partnerships program (ICTR-CAP). She brings considerable knowledge about campus-wide resources to support community-engaged translational health research. Prior to her ICTR career, Kate worked with our very own primary care practice-based research network, the Wisconsin Research & Education Network (WREN). As a WREN research coordinator and Certified Practice Facilitator, she helped implement and operationalize practice-based research and quality improvement projects within primary care clinics throughout the state.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys scuba diving with her family, cruising on electric bikes, dining alfresco with friends and family, and being a cheerleader for her 3 kids navigating young adulthood during a pandemic!
