Allison Couture, DO, MPA
Congratulations to Allison Couture, DO, MPA (Assistant Professor, CHS) on being selected as a Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) 2024 New Faculty Scholar Award recipient. Couture was selected for having outstanding leadership potential and was one of fourteen recipients. She will receive a year of mentoring and presentations from senior STFM leadership and is invited to attend the STFM annual spring conference in Los Angeles, CA in May 2024.
The STFM New Faculty Scholars program began in 1988 with the intent to develop future leaders in academic family medicine and STFM. The program provides coaching, learning, and networking opportunities and funds registration and travel to the society’s annual conference. Additional mentoring and scholarship opportunities for faculty underrepresented in medicine are available to contribute to a diverse family medicine workforce.
