Baraboo 1-2 Rural Training Track Family Medicine Residency Program

Madison Residency Program
Seven of the 15 graduates are staying in Wisconsin:

Five are practicing in the Midwest (Camila Khan, MD, at Affinia Healthcare in St. Louis, Missouri; Taylor Ross, MD, at CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri; John Kalmanek, MD, at Advocate Aurora Health in Oak Lawn, Illinois; Bradley Pfeifer, MD, at Methodist Health System Physicians Clinic in Fremont, Nebraska; and Luke Ragon, MD, at Corewell Health in Grand Haven, Michigan).
Two moved to New England (Melanie Biegler, DO, is practicing at Community Health Centers in Burlington, Vermont; and Jenny Ho, DO, is pursuing an Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship at Dartmouth Family Medicine in Augusta, Maine).
One moved to Alabama to pursue a Sports Medicine Fellowship (Alex Hanna, MD, at the University of Alabama in Birmingham).
Academic Partner Residency Programs
Aurora Lakeland Rural Training Track Residency Program – Elkhorn
All four Lakeland graduates are staying in Wisconsin: Sarah Rustad, MD, at UnityPoint Health in Fitchburg; Brenna Rauner, MD, at Aurora Health Center in Hustisford; Sarina Webster, MD, at ThedaCare in Waupaca. Sarah Zimmerman, MD, is undecided.
Gundersen Health System Family Medicine Residency Program – La Crosse
Three of the La Crosse residents will remain in Wisconsin: Kate Edsall, MD, at Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hillsboro Clinic in Hillsboro; Taylor Tomczyk, DO, MPH, at St. Croix Regional Medical Center in St. Croix Falls; and Allicen Waxlax at Gundersen Tri-County Whitehall Clinic in Whitehall. Leaving Wisconsin to practice in other Midwestern states are Jacob Bentley, MD, at Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s Wabasha Clinic in Wabasha, Minnesota; Courtney Bork, MD, at Eastern Iowa Health Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Kyle Drehmel, MD, at Olmsted Medical Center Clinic in Lake City, Minnesota.
Aurora Family Medicine Residency Program – Milwaukee
Eight of the 10 graduates are staying in Wisconsin:

Samia Khan, DO, is practicing at Dartmouth Health in Bedford, New Hampshire, and Jayni Sanghavi, MD, is undecided.
Waukesha Family Medicine Residency Program
Four of the Waukesha grads are staying in Wisconsin: Haley Bodette, MD, at UW Health Odana Road Clinic in Madison; Megan Byrnes, MD, at Mike Bluff Medical Center in Mauston; Aleksander Downs, MD, at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point; and Gretchen Mueller, MD, at ProHealth Care in Mukwonago. Two grads are heading south: Brant Gunderson, MD, is pursuing a Sport Medicine Fellowship at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina; and Cody Ratermann, MD, is pursuing an Obstetrical Fellowship at Ascension St. Vincent’s Family Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida. Karolina Bulak, MD, is moving to Michigan to practice at Alcona Health Center in Oscoda.
Aspirus Wausau Family Medicine Residency Program
Four of the six Wausau graduates will stay in Wisconsin: Cody Fox, MD, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau; Thomas Licata, DO, at Aspirus Wausau Hospitalists in Wausau; Hilary Steltenpohl, MD, at Marshfield Clinic in Weston; and Natalie Weeks, MD, at Aspirus Merrill Clinic in Merrill. One is moving to Oklahoma: Sudhakar Basetty, MD, will practice at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. One is undecided: Meghan Hughes, MD, MPH.
