Congratulations to Earlise C. Ward, PhD, LP, HSP (Professor) on receiving a Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) Accelerator Mental Health Challenge Grant for her proposal “Oh Happy Day Class – Depression Intervention.” The $35,000 grant allows for digitizing Oh Happy Day Class intervention modules, designed for African American adults experiencing clinical depression.
WARF Accelerator provides resources for inventors to help advance commercially promising and urgent technologies closer to the marketplace. The WARF Accelerator Mental Health Challenge Grant sought proposals for technologies and applications that can promote mental health or wellness or detect, prevent, or treat mental health disorders.
