UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health faculty, staff and learners are engaged in diverse scholarly projects to educate the next generation of family physicians; improve primary care clinical practice; and advance the health of individuals, families and communities.
They have earned numerous awards from local, state and national organizations for their efforts. Supported by many state- and federally funded grants, they present their work at academic conferences nationwide and publish in peer-reviewed journals and other publications.
In addition, they disseminate educational videos and podcasts for learners throughout the department, institution and around the world.
